The Meaning Of Change.
The meaning of change can be seen in multiple different ways such as you may have some loose change in your wallet or when you grow up your appearance can change or what you like doing will alter it can also make someone or something different.
My first idea.
I wake up in a field at night time and I look around and when I look around I see a light through a hedge so I walk over to it and when I get closer to it the light gets brighter and brighter and when I eventually get to it I walk through it and I end up in a different location such as a street and then I walk around the town for a little bit whilst being confused until I stumble across a house that looks similar. I then walk up to the front door and when I'm about to knock on the front door I hear a noise/music coming from the back of the house as I get closer the noise/music gets louder and when I look in the garden I see a light coming from the shed with the door open and when I walk up to the door the music suddenly stops I walk up to the box on the table and I unlock it and find a picture I pick up the picture and then when I lift it up I see a flash and then I walk up in my bed.
My final idea.
I wake up in a field with a picture on the floor next to me and I look around all confused and i eventually get up after looking at this picture wondering what it is about, I then decide to walk through these hedges and when i walk through them I end up at a different location like a town and when I'm walking around the town I end up stumbling across the house that is in the image I walk up to the door and I start to hear some music and it is coming from the back garden and I go and investigate what it is and I see a light coming from the shed i go up to it and i see the shed door open and with a box in the middle with a spot light shinning on it i walk up to the box and its wrapped in a chain with a key on top i then open the box and there is a picture and on the picture is me and a person and i then see a flash and i wake up from this dream and look around to see what happened and then go back to sleep and then i roll over and see the person led next to me and then it ends.
Simplicity and structure
Q: It starts when?
A: I wake up in a field with a picture of a house next to me and and then i eventually get up and then i walk through some hedges and i end up in a town.
Q: The hook is?
A: The picture of the house
Q: There is mystery because?
A: The character doesn't know what the house means or know what could happen when he finds it
Q: It ends when?
A: When I wake up and find someone led next to me with a picture.
Q: What did we learn?
A: Pictures unlock memories

Youtube Videos.
What I like about this is at the very start where its got the establishing shot of the place and then the main character wakes up and that's when the scene officially starts and then he looks really confused when he finds the bracelet on his arm and then when he looks at the photo of the woman he doesn't know who that woman is. I used this is my film at the very start where I have the camera pan into the centre where I wake up

What I like about this short horror is the music coming from the box when its opened and it makes the person confused about what's going on. I also liked some of the shots they used such as the pan of the guy walking around the table. I liked the shot of the clock but I would use a tri pod to make it look better because when the guy used their hands it was all wobbly but still clear. I used the music coming from the box in my film where it draws me in until I get to it and open the box.

What I like about this scene is when he opens the chest and the chest is facing away from the camera so that the viewer can't see what's in the chest so it makes the viewer intrigued and makes them keep watching to find out what was in it. I used this shot when I open the box and the camera is behind the box so the viewer cant see what's in it.

Camera Techniques.
I would like to try and use a few of these techniques in my film because I feel like it will help improve. The one I like the most is the mid shot because it still shows a lot of the character and still a lot of the background at the same time. The shot I made the most use of is the close ups because I made a type of horror and close ups tell the story. I used the close ups of the face well when I was walking into the shed as it made me look confused. I also used a couple of wide shots in my film such as when I walking across the side of the house and when I was getting up from field. I did end up using a mid shot when I was looking at the photo and the girl stepped into the frame. I used one long shot when I was walking around the field.

Editing Techniques
This video helped me crop my opening clip to make me more centre on the screen so its focused on me more than the surroundings. I used this on my opening scene where I pan the camera and then wake up I used it on this clip because when I was re-watching the clip I felt like there was to much sky so I wasn't in the centre of the clip.

Location Recce.
This location is used right at the start of my film for the first couple of scenes. I chose this location because it makes the character feel isolated as there is no one to call or anyone near by as the field looks like it is in the middle of nowhere.

This location is used near the end of the film for when I finally find the house. I chose this house because one it was easy to get to and it makes the horror thing more scary because it is in an everyday home other than a haunted mansion.

Sounds
I used this sound because in the background of one of my clips you can see cars driving by so to make it sound more realistic I added the sound of cars going past.

I used this because even though you can't see an aeroplane going over I thought it would a good idea to make it sound like one was going over.

I cut this sound down so that it fits in for when I'm about to knock on the front door and it gets louder as I get closer to the shed.

I used this sound when I walking because it calm and then it makes my character feel like he is on a mission.
